Was it really because of a bad weather forecast, or did the Islamists win again?

Why have you put this in News?  Is there something you're not telling us?

It was weather and cancelled long before news reached us about New Orleans, if that's what you're suggesting.

There was a forecast of strong winds that might have raised a lot of kilts.

Anyway, for all you Scots out there, this should raise a few hairs on the back of your neck. Turn the sound up!

Whit on earth are ye on aboot, laddie?

Evidence?

or peeing in the wind?

Can't stand André Rieu.

Oh I did the new years concert vienna

Rieus does a down market version ( I thought he was Dutch but he was speaking German) and the crowd loved it

and smiles all the way - and the concerts are packed

On average, tickets can run from $78 to $1,450

was the weather bad in the event or was it just a flood of Islamists

Probably a bit windy but woulda been ok - just one of the regular scare stories.

I've put off a visit to family up north this weekend due to "heavy" snow forecast for Sat into Sun. I'll be annoyed if we don't get it.

Not enough back-handers to satisfy those and such as those so scrap the whole thing or desperation to make a drama out of a crisis, maybe even a touch of both.

Risk assessments and health and safety are killing this country by degrees.

Could it be that councils across Britain (& the West in general) are terrified they don't have enough bollards in place for outdoor events ?

If you organise an outdoor event for New Years Eve in Edinburgh and Blackpool would you be expecting a tropical evening?

You really need to get treatment for your rabid Islamophobia.

What can we expect from you next - "Was Rashford really sick or did the Islamists win again"

Question Author

canary; If I suffer from what you term "Islamophobia" I am in very good company.  Europe has been fighting back muslim invasions for 1,400 years. In fact since the  Battle of Tours in 732 which halted the Islamic advance into France and probably beyond into Britain. It gained a strong presence in Spain before being fought back and was similarly repelled when they reached the Gates of Vienna in the late 17 century.

What we see taking place today with jihadist attacks in major European cities, Islamic no-go zones in many of them, and creeping sharia, etc, demonstrates the ongoing Islamic invasion of Europe, and I suggest by ignoring these facts and indeed welcoming Islam, you are being what is termed a 'useful idiot'.

You are insane!!

Oh no he's not! (Oh yes he is?)

your obsession with muslims resembles mental illness

Khandro's assessment is, in my opinion, pretty accurate. Perhaps the amateur psychologists here will tell us why they deem him mentally unstable.

There is absolutely no evidence that this was nothing other than the council reacting to a yellow weather warning.

Your hatred of this religion is bordering on psychotic!

Some say the denial shows a spinal suppleness rarely seen these days.
