Both individuals seem to have difficulty phrasing things diplomatically.  But I'm sure they'll calm down in due course.

 

If Musk objects to Farage being in charge he need not offer Reform his support.

 

Ultimately it seems the disagreement is over Tommy Robinson, and one can see both sides of that argument, but only a fool would let that issue derail the nationally important one of getting a patriotic party into government.

 

The TM issue should be dealt with by private members of the House. Any political party that takes up his cause prior to the next GE is likely to lose voters because of TM's past rep.

I wonder who Musk sees as an alternative Reform leader over the most successful British politician of the past two decades?

Musk has made posts approving of Rupert Lowe's posts so presumably hinting he may be a good choice.

 

But IMO the swipe wasn't to be taken too seriously. It seems to me to be more about two "alpha types" wanting their opinion to dominate and trying to push the other down.  You can see words & actions from major players in politics and elsewhere doing this if you observe.

Reform voters dont care about Musk who is on the specrum anyway (We have seen this over the years - remember the cave rescues).  As I wrote a while back I doubt any money (and certainly not $100m) was going the be forthcoming.  More likley the rumour spread to fluch out Nerver here Kier and Badenock.  Which it did.

All Musk has done now is enable Farage to cement the idea Refor is not U
