To A Rat Or Not?
I have a family member who has long term mental health issues (schizophrenia but classically denied by him) he is under the care of a community psychiatric nurse and is housed in a housing association 2 bedroom flat on the top storey ! ! But long story short he has ingressed into the roof to store his 8 life sized manaquinnes, All his musicial instruments, 7 guitars, a full sized drum kit, Double Bass, violin, trumpets, keyboards and loads of other stuff and much more other stuff ( he can't play a note!) but I'm concerned about him ingressing the roof space! If i report him he could well lose his home, but if i don't I'm concerned about his safety and the other 5 houses in the block! Do I rat or mind my own business, I'm very torn, as he is a nice chap just sadly bonkers! If I ignore it am I complicit and abetting if god forbid his squirrelling caused ant serious damage to anyone else? Any thoughts guys. Thank you!

I'd still ask his CPN for advice. I had a family member with a similar problem (though not quite as extreme). The CPN was very kind and helpful (until her visits were cut from once a week to once a month). Sadly he's no longer with us.
