Take it you mean Trump?

Question Author

Aye.

What a waste of time and money.

The whole thing has been a load of nonsense.

It seems that Trump was guilty as charged, but allowed off because of his position.

Doesn't make sense to me, Atheist.

Why bring charges against someone of his position only to let him off because of his position?

Probably trying to avaoid an appeal

Trump will appeal against this sham sentence, and it will be thrown out for the strictly political, and very much local to NY,  that it was instigated. But the appeals process could not proceed until he was "sentenced". Then on Jan 20th perhaps Merchant and Bragg will perhaps find themselves under extreme public legal scrutiny and investigation and we will learn just who was sponsoring the political lawfare, staged, manoeuvring. Any guesses?

Perhaps Trump will prosecute Bill Clinton for hushing up cigar loving Monica, just for the hell of it. It could have long legs this tactic. Hope it catches on over here.

I doubt Trump will bother, much bigger fish to fry, probably take delight in the fact the Prosecuters will have to sit waiting to see if he does anything.

As I sais above I suspect the "sentence" was such to avoid an appeal - done in a other State without democrat lawfare.

From my link ymb   ...   //As the American People have seen, this “case” had no crime, no damages, no proof, no facts, no Law, only a highly conflicted Judge, a star witness who is a disbarred, disgraced, serial perjurer, and criminal Election Interference. Today’s event was a despicable charade, and now that it is over, we will appeal this Hoax, which has no merit, and restore the trust of Americans in our once great System of Justice.//

He will appeal on the basis that it also besmirches the American ideal and the whole of the Federation of States institution.

What a waste of time and money.

noop - even a president has to obey the law ( that applies to him. " I am president, I can do what I like csn't I"

But still a felon and the first one to taint the Oval Office....unless he is bumped off before next week. Disgraceful that he's going to be in there.

//the first one to taint the Oval Office//

Laugh? I nearly did. Nixon, Clinton, Biden, Kennedy.............

I wonder if the phrasing is a nod to the dalliance with the fragrant Ms Daniels. 😀
