Fancy a laugh? Last night  I had a really bad tickly itch at the top of my thigh - I scratch and scratched as it was driving me mad. Later on at bedtime it was itching again so I scratched     a bit too much, and made the skin sore. Remembering I had a tube of Sudocrem in my bedside drawer I felt and found it, didn’t put light on as didn’t want to wake MrSmow. Put it on , and 2 seconds later I was on fire! It wasn’t Sudocrem I’d put on- it was Deep Heat!! 🤬🤬🤬

I did lol!

What's Deep Heat for?

Question Author

Muscular aches and pains - it's like a cream with an intense warming effect when you apply it.

Awful stuff!

Has the itch gone, Smow?

makes me remember - taking down a tube of toothpaste from the cabinet and cleaning me teeth only to find it was a tube of hair removal cream - not forget that in a hurry

I've got Deep Heat stored on my bathroom shelf, right alongside a tube of Anusol.  I sometimes wonder if that's really such a good idea! 😉

I once broke off from preparing a meal to head for the bathroom, so that I could 'point Percy at the porcelain'.  While I fully intended to wash my hands thoroughly afterwards, it never occurred to me to do so first.  That turned out to be unfortunate, as I'd been chopping hot chilli peppers at the time 🙄

Been, that has reminded me of an ex. Chopped chillis then went to the loo. One of the funniest things I ever saw was him dangling  his bits in the water filled bidet.

be careful about scratching dirt ( OH's dirt I am sure) into it

Hi Tilly,no not 100% - darent put anything on it now LOL.

JJ - sorry but that did make me laugh!

OMG Chris/Barmaid - I'm wincing just thinking about the sting!!

LOL @ Barmaid!

(Yes, it really does sting!)

A couple of the replies reminded me that a long time ago when I still needed to use tampons, I went to the bathroom to rub some Deep Heat on my leg and thought whilst I was in there I would change my tampon, didn't rinse my hands thoroughly enough-I was fine once I'd climbed down off the light fitting.
