I know three different people who have had hearing tests/aids from Specsavers and all three have been really pleased with both the service offered and the aids themselves. There was little delay in getting an appointment with them a few weeks ago.
@14.47...If they are recently aquired, presumably they have been pre-programmed for different modes eg general use, hear in noise (eg restaurants),outdoor, music, hearing loop etc. Change modes on the small top button (one beep, two beeps etc) or via the BeMore app, on which you can personalise sound, access Bluetooth, reduce wind noise, get noise reduction etc.
//Depending on your level of deafness, you may find the NHS aids may not suit you as they don't carer for the extremely deaf.//
Have to disagree with that. My daughter is profoundly deaf, from birth, has virtually nothing but the NHS digital aids do work.
//NHS provides the same brands but not the latest models//
Not true either, same daughter was give £2K ones.
