Sorry dizydosydoll, doesn't sound good. I have done this in the past and the print almost melts when touched by the iron. Rule of thumb for the future, always iron inside out, not much help now though.
I have done this with one of my shirts. I learnt the hard way. I dont think anything can be done. In future best off ironing inside out...
May help a tad but depends how smudged the print is.Put the jumper in the freezer for a few hours.Remove and then very carefully scrape the smudged print off with a sharp knife or paint scraper.You should hopefully be able to remove at least some of it.
Hi, bit naughty, but if you've only just got it then take it back to the shop, tell the you followed the washing and ironing instructions.....and look what happened!!!!..like I said....naughty, but may be worth a try ;o}

Thanks Guys I thought it may be ruined but hey that happens to all the stuff i like. I bought it from tk max i dont know how strict they are on taking things back. To be honest it may have happend in the wash as when i put it on after ironing i just noticed these two lines and just put it down to the iron from the print as thats where the lines where near i might wash it again and taking it back but i really really like it and i bet they dont have another.
