Detained Britons Charged With Espionage...

I've had high blood pressure for a long time, and tried three different types of medication. All three resulted in me having very very heavy legs. I struggle with my mobility, so this made things even more difficult. The cardiologist told me not to take them, but didn't give me any other solution other than tell me to lose weight, which has proven to be very hard during menopause.
has anybody else experienced ridiculously heavy legs, or had success with any other method to lower blood pressure?

Thankfully no obvious side effects now. Very overweight too.
Added to that I was diagnosed with Diabetis a few months ago..I don't want to start medication so took my GPs advise to try and alter the blood sugars with diet. Loose weight if possible.
I started that day following a low carb high protein diet..for the sugar, but it's also enabled me to lose over 2 stone in weight. The blood sugar reading reduced too.
I'm thankful to be given that chance.
It's been the easiest way of eating I've ever done..worth a try..
