The Day The Music Died
6 Answers
Remembering today my musical heroes from (what seems like) another life. Buddy Holly (22), Richie Valens (17) and The Big Bopper (28) died this day in 1959 along with the pilot of the plane Roger Paterson. Still occasionally listen to their music.

Waylon went on to become a big Country Music star wo was a member of the Highwayman, with Johnny Cash, Kris Krostoffersen and Willie Nelson. As gulliver says, great music.
