When I was given my cancer diagnosis, that nice Mr Google (plus some reliable websites, such as that of the Mayo Clinic) suggested that my chances of still being alive 5 years afterwards were only one in three.

I was given my diagnosis 5 years ago today.

I still seem to have a pulse! 😊

I'm happy 🙂

You were one of those, along with Mamyalynne and Danny K, who made me feel welcome on AB  when I first joined.

Fantastic to hear such good news. Keep on keeping on, Chris! AB certainly wouldn't be the same without you :-)

I'm pleased you're still here and happy Chris.
You certainly make us ABers happy too.

That's good, Chris! They do it get it wrong sometimes. I knew someone who was given only 3 months to live when she was 35 but lived to be 93.

Thanks, Tomus42, Maydup and 10CS!

Thank you too, Karamia, especially for all of the birthday cards, Christmas cards and Friday evening conversations here!

The link was supposed to be the usual Amazon one - so that the title of the book isn't showing.    Duh!
