They did feed us some rubbish films back in the sixties.

I just caught the back end of a film.. 40 Guns To Apache pass, Audie Murphy being the hero.

What puzzles me is Audie was shot about 5 times but 5mins later he was galloping back to the fort were his woman was waiting to greet him with open arms.

Why is it, however many times the hero is shot he just ends up with his arm in a sling at the end. :0)

Have you ever watched a film all through just because its so bad its.

Kiefer Sutherland aka Jack Bauer in the series 24 was my favourite.  He was bashed, bruised, and battered regularly, and held by the Chinese in appalling conditions for about four years, and every time he popped back to save the world in about five minutes.  I loved it!  😂

All the action movies of he 80's! They would get shot, usually in the shoulder so we  know they won't die just yet. Then they could run, shoot, climb and fight without the slightest wince.

Audie Murphy was quite useful during WW2 ,as well.

//Murphy received the Medal of Honor for valor that he demonstrated at age 19 for single-handedly holding off a company of German soldiers for an hour at the Colmar Pocket in France in January 1945, before leading a successful counterattack while wounded//

They're marvellous drivers too.  At the wheel they take their eye off the road for ages chatting to their passenger and never even a bump.

and they don't eat much or ever go to the loo 🤣

The A Team used to make me laugh. Every episode the same; up against it with just an empty washing-up bottle, a couple of tin cans, a lens from a pair of spectacles and a flint from a lighter and they would outdo Blue Peter's creativity by making a bazooka or something which they then used to blow the bad guys up. Yet no-one bled and no-one died.

Yes ken

They go into a barn with a spanner and a few planks of wood and some  metal and nails ; and emerge in a tank 😁

I was watching Prison Break the other day - a woman is beaten, gaffer-taped and dragged across the floor - and still manages to escape without a mark on her pristine white business suit and with make-up and hair immaculate.

I used to find TV's Man in a Suitcase amusing - he woud walk into the most obvious ambushes, receive a beating, then re-appear without a hair out of place 🤣.

I think John Wayne must hold the record for the number of times on set in a sling, not to mention his pants round his neck, jesus he killed some indians off in his lifetime.

Was it the worst program on TV in the 60/70s. Emma Peel trapping the badman round the neck in her thigh high boots and crushing him, or John Steed poking you in the eye with his trusty umbrella.
