I thought the first series was good but I ran out of steam during the second one. I would watch a couple of episodes and take it from there.

I have just watched a series called Mo.  It is about a Palestinian immigrant family living in Houston.  It is loosely based on the main actor's life.

It isn't a political series, it is just about people.
