Just for info, JJ: 
Only people in receipt of certain benefits are eligible for the Winter Fuel Payment.  (So most people here won't have got it).

Those with entitlement should have had a letter and a payment by the 25th January.

I think pensioners in Northern Ireland were due to get some sort of ex-gratia payment

Yes in NI a £100 payment to pensioners who qualifed for the fuel allowance, payable by the end of March 2025.

Reports said people lodging valid claims for pension credit last autumn may not get their WFA until March.

Just be  aware that presently there is a nast text message being sent that warns that you need to quickly"apply" for a winter fuel allowance with a link. Do not open the link. There is a fake qr code that is hidden in the link that will bind you to a malicious website that is after your money or personal details.

The SNP promised all pensioners in Scotland would get the WFA,but my partner is still waiting.My MP is Stephen Flynn,will he be able to hurry things up i wonder,it will soon be spring.
