Peoples Names You Can't Shorten

Has anyone seen this? At nearly 4 hours including adverts and intermission it was a long haul but it didn't feel like it at the time. Yet looking back I wonder why? Perhaps it was because of the wonderful acting by, in particular, Adrien Brody. There were also important socio-political messages. But somehow for me it didn't really cohere.

Magnificent soundtrack and cinematography, so definitely needs to be seen on the big screen. It certainly didn't feel like nearly four hours. I agree about Adrien Brody; an absolute travesty if he doesn't win Oscar for best actor. For those who haven't seen it, there's a scene about fifteen minutes into the film which caused quite a stir among some of the older viewers at my matinee performance.🫣
