It's well known amongst those who can afford such a vehicle that when you buy a BMW, you are invited on a special Advanced Aggressive Driving course. Module 1 is Mastering Tailgating. Module 2 is How to Never Use Indicators, and it concludes up with a graduation ceremony where they hand you your keys and a certificate in Overtaking at Questionable Speeds which you can show to police to reduce your charges and maintain anonymity.

YMB - I've had Audi & VW in the past. I wouldn't have another German car if they were giving them away. 🤣

I think a lot of BMW drivers have become more tolerant over the years, only recently one on a side road waited until I'd passed before he pulled out. It seems, where I live, Audi drivers have become the intolerant ones. Oh, and cyclists.

I agree with Vulcan.  I hardly see any BMW around now and Audi drivers are the new BMW drivers.

I've got a Toyota RAV4 now (coming up 7 years / 100k on the clock). Sails through every MoT, only repair needed has been one wheel bearing.

We hired an Audi Q5 on holiday over Christmas.

Cheap and not very cheerful we thought.
