Smart Meter Installation By Sms
Has anyone had a smart meter installed by this company recently? I had an appointment which was cancelled for no reason. Rebooked. It got cancelled again. Too annoyed to speak on the phone so emailed them. Someone from customer service head office sorted it all out for me. Two days before installation I thought I'd better check correct meter was being installed (storage heaters so need 5 port meter). Was told no, that's not what was booked in and appointment cancelled again. Was told engineer didn't have the skills for that. In the meantime the engineer texted me (why wasn't he told of cancellation?) and said he could fit anything I wanted! So who am I meant to believe. I need to rebook obviously but just wondered if others had experienced all this faffing around? I just want an engineer who knows what he's doing and installs the right meter and correctly! Don't have much faith in those answering the phone as they obviously didn't pass on my first message (that I had storage heaters so needed specific meter). Grr lots 😆.

Like you, I e-mailed a "stinker" and everything was sorted post-haste! Today an Engineer arrived at 08.15 and all is well ... for the moment. 😊
