Who else loved the Eastenders 40th week? sad when Martin died, Did anyone vote and for who for Denise to choose and Sonia's baby name. Steve Macfadden was brilliant too and loved Anita Dobson's small part.

Hadn't seen it for ages but watched the live show. Sad to see Martin go especially as he and Stacey were getting back together. Wonder did the actor who played him ask to leave or was he written out

Yes, such a shame as I really like Martin.  But James and Lacey really did a great job in the live episode.

I would have voted for Denise to stay with Ravi. It would have been more realistic if Sonia had named her baby after Jean or Dot

James Bye wanted to leave apparently, I also voted Ravi for Denise and Julia (Julia Smith) was the original creator of eastenders, one of them so that is why Sonia named her baby that name or it would have been Toni (Tony Holland) the other creator, great Anita Dobson had a small part after I think 36 years.
