Out For Lunch

Today. Not done this for months due to compromised immune systems but decided to risk it as the sun was out and we both needed a change.

It was lovely, sunny views over the river from the newly owned and refurbished restaurant, and delicious food. 
Anyone else been out for lunch today? Hope you enjoyed it as much as us if you have 🍽️

We haven't been out to lunch today, but we visited a fairly local pub last Wednesday for lunch, and what a good experience it was! It's very rare for us to have lunch in a pub, what with old age, arthritis, etc., but last Wednesday we thought "Hang it! Let's have a change!" We shall doubtless repeat the experience!

Yes, I visited a local café today which I haven't been to for some time. Last time I went they had just acquired a tiny puppy.  I asked to see her today and was amazed how much she had grown.  The joys of puppyhood soon seem over.

They have outside seating but tempting as the warm sun was, there was a cool breeze from the north which would soon have been intolerable. But Spring must be round the corner, the first daffodils are in bloom round here.
