Hello again!

I got off to a great start this week, with a maximum SEVEN out of seven in the grown-ups' quiz:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz9nnkkep29o

As was to be expected from me though, I then had to ruin everything by scoring just ONE out of five in the junior version!

How will YOU do this week, I wonder?

Good evening.
2/7 and 4/5 for me.

Good Evening, Chris!

And huge congratulations on that brilliant 7/7 !

My scores tonight are

5/7, 3/5

I have just been enjoying my evening meal of chicken tikka with poppadoms, a new mango chutney with chilli (which I am now obsessed with) and naan bread. As I was about to play your quizzes tonight, I did of course plate you some up and have sent it round in an uber. Hope it gets there ;-)

I went round to visit grandpup and noticed he was looking a little sad. It turned out an ear had dropped off his favourite soft bunny toy, so of course I had to sew it back on. He was so happy afterwards and was running around with it like a made thing. He is just so adorable.

Surprised to hear Tablo enjoying a bath tonight. Sounds like you all enjoying a lovely peaceful evening together.

Wishing you and the kitties a wonderful week ahead :-)

Well done on scoring a higher aggregate than me, Jourdain2!

I hate dentists!  At least Tyke won't have to worry for ages ahead of his procedure, like I would!

>>> "OH has walked half a mile!!"

Does that mean that the nearest pub is a quarter of a mile way then? 🍺 😊

Have a good week!

It could have been worse, I suppose, Canary42 😊

Better luck next week!

Well done on beating my aggregate (as usual!), Scorpiojo! 🏆

4/7

1/5

Buen - nearest pub is just over 100 yrds..  On Wed. we made it to 'early doors' and a proper pint for him - 1st since 11th December.  Guess what?  He would like to do it again!!!!

:)

Hi, Clover!

You're four times as good at me at being childlike, I see!

Well done!

Good evening, Karamia!

Well done on getting some decent scores this week!

I'm looking forward to the Uber delivery.  (Have you ever tried Stilton and mango chutney sarnies?  They're delicious!)

I wonder if there's a living to be made out of repairing dog toys?  🐶

It's still reasonably peaceful here, although Chequers has just miaowed at me like mad to tell me that he needed feeding.  All I actually had to do though was to escort him downstairs to show him that he'd got loads of food available anyway!

I hope that your week will go well!

That sounds like an excellent excuse (erm, I mean 'reason', of course) for getting a bit of exercise, Jourdain2 😊

Thanks for keepin me company in the dunces' corner for kids, Kwillmott 😉

😁

5/7,2/5. Bailey had his cone of shame taken off Thursday evening then tried really hard to open up his wound again so it has gone back on. Can confirm that Puss Puss at the age of 12 has never lost his inner kitten and happily shreds curtains and chases toys...Have a good week.

Well done with that decent 5/7, Campbellking!

I hope that Bailey will be fully recovered very soon! 😺

It's good to read that Puss Puss still thinks that he's a kitten at the age of 12.  I'm not too sure that I'd want my 11-year-olds trying to climb the curtains though.  At around 8 or 9kg, Chequers would bring the curtain rail down!

I hope that your week goes well!

6/7 for me, I didn't fancy dining in a funeral home! 3 for kids, so not too bad over all. The sun is shining but it's a bit chilly. Someone had a bonfire yesterday and one of our cats came home reeking of smoke. Yuk!

3/7

1/5

🤣

Question Author

A better aggregate than me then, Roo!  Well done!

I'm sure that there are far worse things that cats could reek of!
(My darling Tablo can be a mobile hydrogen sulphide plant at times!)

Thanks for keeping me company in the kids' quiz, Rocky!
