I believe there are sizeable Russian minorities in all three countries.  If Putin decided he wanted a form of Anschluss to recover these lost lands who could stop him?

I don't think Trump would.  What would he care about far away countries of which he knows little?

They're members of NATO so if Putin invaded that would be the start of ww3, with America sitting it out.

Most likely there'll be no invasion but a revolution from within of the oppressed ethnic Russian minorities wanting to de-nazify, overthrow their oppressors and rejoin the Russian motherland. All nothing to do with Putin of course, just the desire of the baltic states people.

ymb - yes but Russia has nukes and has a looney in charge of them. Mind you, the same seems to be true of the USA.

If Russia was to attack the West it wouldnt use Nukes it would wage cyber warefare, far more effective these days.  Wars with boots on the ground are now showing to be pointless with all the drones now around.
