I'm thinking about going on fat jab and wondering if anyone has done it before and had to avoid drinking

Ignore the yellow bit I don't know what happened there

Your not fat and you can't afford the jab

You're not fat ....

You do know alcohol is full of empty calories? If you keep drinking you won't lose weight despite jabs

No, but drink itself can be a big contributor to weight so a good starting point may be to cut down on alcohol ( beaujolais days,  bottomless brunches- as well as pizzas) before you start paying for and taking risks with  jabs ( or is it on N H S?)

It's only available on the NHS to the obese with additional health problems

abbey, you don't need to go down that road.  Forget it.

Have you seen the recent photos of Kelly Osbourne? That should put anyone off ozempic

The 'stars' have been known to use other appetite suppressants, often inhaled, along with the injections to get the startling results.

"We'll all stay skinny yeah we just won't eat"

Don't do it Abbey...too many risks, and very expensive.

Drink less, eat better...cut out the takeaways.

Some people have become very ill and even died because of these jabs. 82 deaths according to the well respected British Medical Journal

Yes, you can drink on it.  A friend of mine's on it but still has wine on a Saturday night and has still lost weight.  There was a programme on Channel 4 last night about unscrupulous people selling it (many of them nurses)  £200 a pop, apparently

For the kosher jabs you are looking at £200 a month

While taking Mounjaro (tirzepatide), you should be cautious about alcohol consumption:

Alcohol can worsen Mounjaro’s digestive side effects.

It may counteract some of the potential benefits of Mounjaro.

Limit alcohol intake to one drink per day for women, or two for men.

Mounjaro may increase sensitivity to alcohol, causing quicker effects.

It's generally recommended to avoid alcohol when starting Mounjaro and gradually introduce it to test tolerance.

So you want to get a curry and have a fat jab?

Good grief, is this just another never ending attention seeking post.  Abbey, you really need to get a decent job and maybe grow up a bit, you sound like a daft teenager at times.

Yes Abbey is considering a mid-morning curry at work at the end of her shift tomorrow.
