As well as being St Patrick's Day, today is also the feast day of Saint Gertrude of Nivelles, the patron saint of cats and those who love them.  Think there are a few on AB.

I wonder if St Gertrude had the problem of her furbabies throwing themselves at the dining room door and HOWLING because she had the temerity to shut herself in there to attend a zoom meeting?  My poor little girls are bereft and their pitiful yells and thuds were heard and remarked upon.  They are not dying, nor hungry, nor poorly treated, they just have a really bad case of "fear of missing out".

From reading through that, it seems that
(a) the notion of Gertrude being the patron sint of cats has only been around since the 1980s ; and
(b) Pope Gregory IV was definitely not a cat lover!

Lovely info about St Gertrude. 
I've been away for the weekend, and my little one has not left my side since I got back. (She wasn't left alone. Husband was here but she doesn't like him very much.)

Lovely photos of all your furballs.  Unfortunately I don't have one at the moment but I pay towards Rosie's keep at Willows Animal Sanctuary.  She's gorgeous.
