I think he's off his rocker, £255k a year Net Zero Tsar hired whihc with all the attendant costs will be closer to Half a Million. Must reassure those about to have their disability benefits slashed that while they starve to death we inch closer to a goal that even if we score in won't make any difference to world climate change.

It's less than half of the figure you quote ("would earn £102,500 a year to work two days a week"). It's still seems a lot but let's get the facts right

Apologies, it says Equivalent of £255 costs, so that is what it will cost in reality. The point is it's not necessary.

It's the equivalent of 500K a year on a FTE basis.

However, thats not the point, Mad Milliband lost the plot years ago, if he ever had it.

What does Milliband actually do?  I mean on a day to day basis.  He arrives at his office - and then what?

Gurns and noshes bacon srnies?

Oh, and wastes tax payers money at the same time as crushing the economy.

If Britain returned to the Stone Age tomorrow, the bet effect on the world's climate would be Net Zero.

So why are we doing it?

Is there going to be someone there with a sash and a crown to award us the Miss Net Zero trophy?

Or does Mr Milliband seriously believe that we are 'setting an example' that the world will follow?

Neither justifies the present and future cost to the population.

The man is a deluded pultroon, he should be stripped of all power and influence today, and left to exorcise his 'failed leader' pride elsewhere.
