Martini

We've just partaken of a martini and found it to be quite acceptable, which surprised us both as the last time we had one we both thought them awful.

We did 50ml gin and 15ml (probably more like 25ml to be honest due to lack of a 15ml measure) dry vermouth. Have no lemons so a slice of lime was floated on top, also no olives 🫒

Anyone here a martini fan? If so, how do you make yours, I'm keen to try a dirty one..

I like a martini but to be honest prefer the sweeter kinds, French or a espresso martini

I love martini. I make mine with vodka and the red martini rosso with a slice of lemon.

Can't recall if I've ever tried one. Perhaps years ago, a bottled martini at a Christmas do maybe.  Gin not being a great favourite of mine, I've not had any drive to mix one, shaken or stirred.

Yes, I like a martini ... classic or dirty, with gin or vodka. If you like something a bit less strong, a lychee martini is the best ...

Having a browse on Internet re. martinis, dirty and otherwise, I came across a Churchill martini.

Espresso martini is not a martini, just like a pornstar martini is not a martini. 🍸🚫 They are both cocktails in a martini glass with "martini" in the name, but not martinis 🤓
