Hope everyone had a good weekend? Got lots of odd jobs and fiddly bits of paperwork done so quite productive. But today has started very dark & grey here, and looks like it's about to hammer it down any moment. 
There was a bit of a suggestion yesterday bout me maybe calling this thread something more about chatter/ or the day and less of morning if I wanted more people to get involved, and then the thread could be valid all day. Something like maybe ' Welcome Monday Chatter !'..... what do you think??

Ladybirder, I would have been so upset.  I have a wee robin that follows me around when I'm weeding.  Next door have a cat but never been a problem - it's magpies that do the damage.

Well that went a bit wrong! Apart from an attack on a favourite cashmere jumper (they have sophisticated tastes) the clothes have got off relatively lightly. We are aware of them flying around and getting caught on the sticky traps. The carpet fitter who came to measure a couple of rooms today told me that manufacturers have started moth-proofing carpets to save their businesses because everybody stopped buying wool carpets.

Good morning all.

Had a nice few days here in Weymouth. We have been quite lucky with the sunshine here. A bit of  chilly wind today. We are now packing up to go home.

So sorry about the beautiful little Robin, LB. So upsetting. That's the only thing I dislike about having cats.
