My brother writes that there's a kind of grass roots movement with town hall meetings in many US towns and cities. Now, a reminder that Americans are most concerned with what's happening there...rather than the rest of the world. So,they are older republicans protesting the threats to medical care, social security and firing of federal employees. All the things that affect them directly. Brother asks, where were they when trump was promising all this stuff that is now impacting on them in a negative way? Not listening I guess.

Meanwhile, my brothers Latino neighbours still think the new order is great and don't worry about how it might affect themselves. 

Trump only sees and wants what will make him bigger, richer,more powerful. People will get trampled as he stomps over them.

But anyway, whoever it is to decide, the point is that it's not America's to decide ... so sending the USA's national security adviser Mike Waltz (the same Mike Waltz who added a journalist to a Signal group to discuss bombing the Houtis) to visit Greenland uninvited is aggressive, especially as Denmark is a NATO ally whose soldiers have died alongside American soldiers in the very recent past, and especially given that in that Signal group Pete Hegseth said to JD Vance "I fully share your loathing of European free-loading. It’s PATHETIC."
