Black leggings

Anyone know where to buy those black leggings that you wear with mini skirts? My legs aren't as good as they used to be and i think they might benefit from a bit more cover!!

my topshop has loads in the sale, if you can face rifling through racks and racks of reduced stuff. usually i'd just cut the feet off a pair of tights though - they're a lot thinner than leggings and cooler in the summer.

The fashion you're seeing at the moment is footless tights with miniskirts, not leggings. You can but them in all the high street shops (all different colours). I remember wearing them in the 80's, finishing at my ankles. However, girls tend to have them slighly higher these days and make them 3 quarter length. They look great don't they? Not for me, I'm too old but they're good on teenagers.

You'd find it quite hard to buy fashionable leggings at the moment unless you visited some of the 'cheaper' high street stores. They have them but the Lycra content is quite low and if you sat down for any length of time, you'd have 'knees' when you stood back up again (if you know what I mean).

Footless tights with skirts are a very casual daytime look and look great with flat pumps. Don't overdo it by wearing them out of an evening with high heels - yuck!

Thanks everyone - my legs aren't THAT bad - not fat and lumpy or anything and i am sure footless tights will look fine. I am off to get some this morning - already have the mini skirts and pumps!

Got them and they look great. think what i was trying to say is i am more conscious of my knickers showing when i bend over etc than i was when i was younger. My legs are really fine i just feel better not showing as much. Comes with marriage and motherhood i guess!!

You can get them at Sears or Claires or Icing or even Limited Too!:) Usually they are $24...Your lucky if you can find them for less. They come in all different color too, not just black. I have seen from black to gray to polka dots to skulls! So shop away!
