"The OfS criticised the university's policy statement on trans and non-binary equality, saying its requirement to "positively represent trans people" and an assertion that "transphobic propaganda [would] not be tolerated" could lead staff and students to "self-censor"." - what a load of old pony

Such censorship & bulling needs to be stopped as hard as possible. It's a sick society that punishes truth telling and refusal to pander to lies.  Should never have let idiots into positions of power to inflict wokeness on all.

Appealling to their common-sense had little impact so it looks like the more forceful route of hitting them in the wallet might be the best way to ensure sanity returns to our academic institutions.

Prof. Sasha Roseneil said the ruling would leave institutions "...powerless to prevent abuse, bullying and harrassing speech."

Given Kathleen Stock was the subject of abuse, bullying and harassing speech for having the temerity of holding the view that sex is immutable, it would appear Prof. Roseneil is not strong on irony.

Common sense needs to return not only to universities but to schools too.   That, I think, is where this damaging indoctrination begins.

Long way to go unfortunatley.
