If you enjoyed Kin, you'll most likely enjoy this gritty drama. I've watched 5 of the 8 episodes so far and i'll most likely finish it tonight - no football to distract me.

Is it a programme about immigrants ?

There are 16 episodes, I watched it years ago. Very good.

No this is a brand new drama, with Sean Bean, set in Liverpool and about gang culture. It's on my list to start this weekend.

There are currently 8 episodes TTT and it came out in 2025

The eight-part series was commissioned in February 2024. Andy Harries of Left Bank Pictures served as an executive producer, Butchard is lead writer and Robbie O'Neill is writing further episodes.

The BBC is yet to confirm whether This City Is Ours has been renewed or cancelled, with the decision likely to be made in the next few months as the show's commercial performance is assessed.

apologies I was talking about "kin"!

We are very much looking forward to it when we've finished Virdee.

Loved Kin

I am enjoying it, but sometimes I close my eyes 😲😲😲

Only managed to watch 6 & 7 tonight. Saved the finale until tomorrow. What a good watch it's been.

I might give it another look. I watched episode 1 and thought it was a poor imitation of Kin. Then I read a truly rotten review which kind of supported my first impressions so I didn't bother with it anymore.

I'll look it up when I run out of dramas to watch and give it another go now.

I must disagree Maydup.  I have only watched the first episode which I really enjoyed - not like Protection which just keeps dragging on.  I loved Kin and it's just like Kin with Scousers up to now!!!!

It is far from being a poor imitation of Kin, imho. Just finished watching the first series tonight and, if i was a gambling man (ahem) i'd lay Lincoln odds on there being a 2nd series. Fingers crossed and all that.
