Water Resistant Polyester For Cushions

I have seen some cushions l like online, but they are water resistant polyester. They say for indoor or outdoor.   I don't want to order them and they are the shiny plasticky outdoor fabric.  Are they different?

I should say, I want them for my sofa indoors....

I've got a big outdoor floor cushion here in my bedroom, which I use for putting my feet up on.  I don't think that it's out of place indoors but it's not the type of cushion that I'd choose as a substitute pillow to put my face next to.

I've seen indoor/outdoor cushions in tkmaxx and the fabric is very closely woven and a bit stiff. They are not like soft plush velvet.
