Well, the day has finally come around. Going into hospital very soon, to have my large hiatus hernia fixed, hopefully!  A bit nervous but ready to get going now and put things right. My stomach is high up behind chest cavity, twisted & upside down..

Are you having a Nissen Fundoplication to fix the hernia? I had one done about 7 years ago. I don't regret it for a minute.

Hernia surgery not known for being an issue, you'll "sail" through it, previous nervousness excepted.  Remember to confirm the good news when you can.
