Today's The Day Of My Surgery..

Well, the day has finally come around. Going into hospital very soon, to have my large hiatus hernia fixed, hopefully!  A bit nervous but ready to get going now and put things right. My stomach is high up behind chest cavity, twisted & upside down..

Thanks everyone. Surgery went well. Just got to get over it now. Obviously, very painful in tummy area. The trapped gas is bad, I won't be able to belch for a while, which doesn't help. Need to watch my diet now, and not over fill stomach. Just small portions of food, little and often. If I don't, I my be back to square one! Going home today. Surgeon said I'd be better out in the fresh air & sunshine. Thanks once again all 😊

So glad to see you back, for the trapped gas, peppermint tea and windmill arms is the best thing as recommended when I had my own stomach surgery.
