Good Morning Everyone

A beautiful morning here. I am getting my lawn cut for the first time later on and I am hoping that will spur me on to doing something about the rest of the garden. I have rather lost heart with the bad weather and how out of control it has got.

Hope Smow is just visiting/entertaining , and not poorly. Hope all the mums out there had a pleasant Mothering Sunday and felt appreciated. 

I Liked it being lighter longer last night due to the clocks altering. Fortunatley the computer alters itself or I wouldn't have a clue how to do it! Cannot do the clock on the cooker, feel very proud of myself for being able to reset the landline and answer machine. Technology and I do not get on. 

What is everyone doing today? I will start on the garden when the man is mowing the lawn, and pop to the shops later. Have a good day everyone.

Sunny but cold here today. The rains of the last month seem to have stopped and we reportedly have enough water in the reservoirs for at least 3 years!! The frogs have started croaking again but no house martins yet. Still have the woodburner lit for nights

Baking day for me,   mincemeat Bakewell tart, cherry and almond flan,  banana bread, and a rich fruitcake.   Might do some sausage rolls as I noticed some puff pastry in the fridge that needs using up by tomorrow.  All for coffee morning tomorrow.... If you bake it they will come......

I've just seen this...good day all! I too hope Smow is OK. I think I saw her late...late...Last night.

I'm doing very little today. I had a busy few days with daughter and her partner. Busy eating and drinking...with a fair amount of walking.
