I haven't watched it for many years but stumbled on it tonight - what an absolute shambles. Self opinionated half-wits trying to score party-political points of one another.

I gave up on it years ago.  Audiences always packed with left-wingers.  Just a shouting shop.  'Any Questions' has degenerated as well, but not quite so badly.

It used to be good. It went downhill when they added a fifth panel member. Now the only person that gets to speak at length is Fiona whatersname who spends the whole time interrupting everyone else and telling them to shut up up because they haven't got much time left.
