None of the supermarkets near me have cafés. I had a breakfast at a Morrisons once, driving home from the airport early one morning

I've used Morrisons in the past for breakfast but not recently.

I'll not really miss them, until they're gone. I'm sure they'll be back in some form though, maybe renting the space to a cafe provider.

There used to be a cafe in my local Tesco. It did a decent breakfast. It went when they refurbished the store. I don't miss it, and now never think about sitting down for a cup of tea while doing my shopping.

Our local Morrisons was poor quality, to say they had so much choice in the store I think they used the cheapest items.

No and No.

Sainsbury's near us got rid of their cafe after Covid, Starbucks now rent it and its busy everytime i go in there.

My local Sainsbury's is a city centre one, but never had a cafe. What I miss is the deli counter that closed during covid. It's been replaced with Argos.

The M and S has a cafe that always looks busy...seating is outdoors only.

Hate shopping. Know what i want, whereabouts it is situated in the store. In and out in minutes. Cuppa when i get home.

Local Morrisons has/had a cafe. I don't use it however a knitting club does.

They meet once a week, cup of tea, biscuit and a few conversations about knitting. Knitting club decanted there after knitting shop closed due to various increases.

Oops, it would be missed if it closed.

I'm with Ken on the shopping front, in and out then home.

I used Morrisons a bit in the past but not lately. Food wasn't that great.

I have used thedm on occasions. I think a lot of people living on their own will miss them as it gave them somewhere to meet people.

"them" not "thedm"!

They are useful on occasion. But many just offer cake & coffee rather than a meal these days anyway.

My local library has a knit and natter, free tea and biscuits

I find supermarket cafes too noisy. Supermarkets are for doing your shopping and getting out of there as quickly as possible

Made the mistake of going into a supermarket cafe recently. Forgot it was the school holidays and it was so noisy. Parents didn't seem to notice, or care, about how much noise their kids made or who they annoyed.  Beat a hasty retreat!
