The name of a venue just came to mind, The Free Trade Hall.  I think it's in Manchester.  

Was it built to celebrate the advantages of free trade?

I don't know but I think it's where someone shouted 'judas' at Bob Dylan.

It was built after the Corn Laws had been repealed in the nineteenth century and it was those laws which imposed tariffs on corn exported to the UK.

As has been said, Manchester's Free Trade Hall was built to commemorate the ending of the Corn Laws in 1846:
