I told you the DVLA will write to when your ban is coming to an end. Then you apply for your provisional and book your CBT

For a start you have to recognise why you were incompetent or stupid enough to get the poinst/ban in the first place.

Taken from .gov

Points on your provisional licence

Any penalty points on your provisional licence that have not expired will be carried over to your full licence when you pass your test. However, your licence will be cancelled if you get any further penalty points that take you up to a total of 6 or more within 2 years of passing your driving test.

If your licence is cancelled within 2 years

You’ll have to apply and pay for a new provisional licence and pass both theory and practical parts of the driving or riding test again to get a full licence.

If you have not sent off for your full licence

You must retake both parts of your driving test if your licence has been cancelled after you’ve passed your test, but you have not sent off for your full licence yet. You can use your current provisional licence to take the tests.

Penalty points (endorsements): New drivers - GOV.UK

Yes you will have to retake the CBT.

You will get a letter informing you to reapply for your provisional license

Let me tell you that's not your problem I'm asking to find out what are the steps regarding Cbt and provisional

i didn't said nothing about full license as I don't want to get that

only when the ban finish

what's next about Cbt and provisional thanks

9 points on a provisional?  Do you really think you should be on the roads yet?

i'm abit confused.  if you dont want to get you full licence, why would you even need a provisional?

bednobs - deliveroo?

bednobs, Presumably so that he can drive without having to pass a driving test.

what benefit would having a provisional licence give you with deliveroo?

If you look at the deliveroo drivers they all seem to have L plates on their bikes.

they can ride a moped with L plates and deliver things.

ok, so it's not for driving but riding.  that makes more sense

...the clue was CBT.

I don't understand why he doesn't want a full license either.  CBT every two years if he doesn't pass his test; higher insurance for learner riders

I suspect the poster is a bit of a geezer who likes to imagine he's getting one over on the man while slowly building his fortune delivering lukewarm kebabs.

I'm a bit late to this.

Nowhere has the OP explained why he thinks he has been banned. If he has nine points he is not banned. Perhaps he could tell us why he thinks he is.

If he has  provisional licence he cannot fall foul of the “New Drivers’” Act. That applies to holders of full licences who passed their first test less than two years earlier and who accumulate six or more points. Their full licence is revoked and they have to apply for  new licence and take their test (both parts) again. So he can’t be subject to that.

I wonder why he thinks he’s banned. I guess we’ll never know.
