Stephen Waxy-Lemon, Aka Tommy Robinson, Is In Court Today Appealing His Prison Sentence.
Among other things he will claim his time in prison is affecting his health.
When will their Lordships hand down their decision? Could they increase his sentence?
I can't do links, but I'm sure those interested in my post will know what's it about.

Khandro's video was calmly and intelligently presented, gave a good report of the court proceedings, and actually offered a reasoned answer to the OP's question - 'Could they increase his sentence?' The speaker reported that the government's lawyers declared the original sentencing 'exemplary' and therefore absolutely correct. So, no, logic dictates that they can't increase his sentence - and if they do - well, like him or not, I'm sure everyone here can work that out.
Elon Musk is paying for Tommy's legal fees, so money no object & he will have no doubt a top barrister representing him. I was important to make it clear that there was nothing unsafe about the original sentence (even thought imo & that many others, there was) so the appeal is based on other circumstances.
a-h. I've told you, before I never read your long-winded, inevitably pompous posts.
Khandro - speaking of pompous posts, it's not all about you.
Some people liket to read reactions to posts, it's how debate works, but it's probably too late for you to grasp that now.
I believe that in order to respond to a post, it's necessary to read it first , you can't condemn the tone of a post you proudly brag not to have read.
But sensible debate is not, and never has been Khandro's approach.
The image conjured up in the report of little Stephen, arms folded across his chest, rocking back and forth in his chair, is one that will stay long with me.
You'd need to have a heart of stone not to laugh at his antics.
And all the while ignoring the thoughts and pain of children being raped, passed on for yet more rape.
You and everyone who can get off on the suffering of a man who genuinely cares for these children really make me sick.
Tommy Robinson goes about things in a cack-handed manner and he's rough around the edges but he does have a social conscience as far as the Muslim grooming gangs and their victims go. He sees what is happening in this country and he's vilified for voicing it. If only his critics and successive governments - and the Muslim voters they're so afraid of upsetting - shared that social conscience - but they don't. I have to ask why Muslim votes would be lost to politicians properly pursuing filthy perverts - why wouldn't any right minded person want that stopped - and why some people would rather see those who do object strongly punished? I think the whole fiasco utterly shameful.

Not be me he isn't. My entire hostility towards 'Tommy Robinson' is based on his encouragement of hooliganism and violence, his own criminal record, and the shameless way he as grandstanded his initial whistleblowing, laudible as it is, into a self-promoting fantasy of himself as a 'journalist', in which he has hounded and maligned innocent peole, flouted the law, and is now correctly serving a prison sentence as a result of his unfettered arrogance and belief that his own view trumps that of due process.
