I caught sight of an article and now can't find it!! (typical)

But it said that it was recommended to have a 72 hour emegency kit due to the increase of storms, power outages and political uncertainity etc.

But I didn't get a chance to see what was in it.  Given the power outage that we suffered in January we have started building a kit, was wondering if anyone knew what sort of things were suggested to go in it.

Thanks chelle.

You're welcome

Remember to stockpile chocolate!

A camping cooker and gas to go with it.

Dont forget the bog roll!

Think about what you'd need if you had no:

heating

hot water

cooker

water

lights

fridge/freezer

petrol

phone

internet

Alternatives to each of those and a stash of chocolate to cheer yourselves up should just about cover it.
