... insurance how much would it cost when she does apply for it?

Not if she is sly.

I was caught driving without insurance and the copper sat in the car with me whilst I sorted out insurance there and then.

When it came to the question about convictions etc - he told me to say no as there was nothing on my license yet.

Hard to say, you'd need all the factors that they use but everything else being the same I'd say at least double what it was.

08:59 that's ok as you had not actually been convicted but I assume you later were convicted.

I'd think maybe 50% more than someone with a clean licence but could be double. Shop around to find the best deal.

....but if there is an IN10 in place then it has to be declared.

Nope, was never convicted never even got points.

you were lucky - got a soft copper...

driving without insurance? I knew you were a wrong un me old china.

It was overlooked during a period of severe depression.

I put my licence in to the peelers here in NI and when it was returned there was no change, I checked the DVLA site, nothing on it, checked with the peelers they told me I was lucky and to leave it at that.

As for being a wrong un - stop looking in the mirror!

At least double or even 80% more.

morning sands!

fraud - much more complicated - from no insurance ever....to repay and cntinue as before

I have been thro a motor insurance appeal -  dont  bother

Morning PP, everyone.

As she couldn't afford insurance before it's highly unlikely she'll be able to pay any increases.

Back to busses and Shanks' Pony, I suppose.

I actually don't know, I'd guess it's something one could only answer if they tried it out or had experience. I will make the admittedly snitty remark - double is more than 80% more so barry should be putting 'at least 80% more or even double'.

Double is 100% more.

Unbelievable luck some have.
