Among other things he will claim his time in prison is affecting his health.

When will their Lordships hand down their decision?  Could they increase his sentence?

I can't do links, but I'm sure those interested in my post will know what's it about.

Khandro - As I have pointed out before, any idiot can post videos like this, and plenty of them do so.But a camera and an inflated ego are no substitute for informed and reasoned argument, and this 'report' is neither. One fool supporting another with pointless waffle under the seriously misled impression that Mr Taylor's view carries any more or any less...

Untitled

she was a social worker in rochdale who specialised in helping teens vulnerable to sexual exploitation. she first identified the grooming gangs and blew the whistle to the authorities, then had her story published in the times in 2001 when the authorities ignored it. she campaigned a great deal in the years since and frequently testified about the problem in parliament and i believe was also involved in the relevant trials. she was awarded an MBE for her efforts about 10 years ago

i find it very telling that someone who takes such an interest in the grooming gangs scandal did not know anything about the person who actually brought it to light. very telling indeed. it's unsurprising that you think tommy robinson did it.

What on earth are you talking about?

it was rotherham sorry not rochdale.

"untitled, the reason we're talking about it is because he won't be silenced. "

the reason we're talking about the scandal is because some very brave and principled people went to the trouble of exposing it and gaining prosecutions.

tommy robinson was not one of those people. he was not involved.

"so i will ask again... what did tommy robinson actually do to expose the grooming gangs scandal?"

He didn't expose but brought focus down to street level rather than it all being an academic exercise resulting in more of the same. Shamed the complacent and complicit into doing something, even if nowhere near enough.

Shone a torch under the couch and watched them scuttle about in desperation when revealed.

Tommy Robinson didn't expose the grooming gangs and neither Did Andrew Norfolk

Their lordships weren't having any of his nonsense.

From what I've read it seems he's enjoying far better conditions and privileges than many other prisoners.

That's pleased you, sandyRoe.

Question Author

No, not at all.  There should be levelling up so that all residents in the prison estate enjoy the same privileges.

Keep the wooden spoon going.

No there should not, sandyRoe.  His sentence is not a criminal sentence.  It is a civil penalty for him breaching an injunction.  The difference is explained at paragraph 40 of the link I supplied.  The release conditions are also quite different.

Question Author

The martyr's crown is something only the bravest of us can aspire to.

It would be a far, far, better thing if he was to die in prison. His death would ignite such a flame that our dear fatherland would be changed forever.

I hope he knows what is expected of him.

That's sick.

Question Author

No, it's just a joke.  Maybe not a side splitting one, but a joke nonetheless.

What a sad individual you are, sandyRoe.

sR //No, it's just a joke.  Maybe not a side splitting one, but a joke nonetheless.//

On a par with your 'hillarious' sobriquet for T.R.

How old are you, eight ?

Question Author

Not quite as sad as those reduced to ad hominem attacks.

^^ which surely fits you continual & weird  malevolence to T.R. ?

You have an enormous capacity to hate, sandyRoe.  I'm glad I'm not you.

I am confused Naomi, everyday you are on here giving the impression that you hate many.
