Dart is always a bit of a brat. She's at the opposite end of the court anyway. If the opponent did smell - while playing a sweat-inducing game - it shouldn't have caused Dart a problem. It was rude of her to complain about something like that.

Weelll   ...   I suppose it all depends where they come from in the World. Lots of "northern" women would be improved immensely if the would only but "shave their tongues".

The French peoole I knew/know were/are definitely not strangers to soap and water.  

Perhaps it is the difference in body odour due to garlic etc. that is causing unnecessary offence?

I remember the trouble getting on a packed tube in Paris a few years back with the comment, done in her best London accent "Gor Bilmey these French dont arf stink"

I had to remind her that whist Parisans may not speak English back to you many do understand the language.  It was amusing though.
