Well it's Good Friday, so who's working today, who has the day off, and who couldn't care less as they're retired anyway? lol. I've just taken a quick peek at the weather forecast and it reckons it's going to rain every day over Easter up until Monday, then dry from Tuesday. Sounds about typical for a British Bank Holiday lol!  Is anyone actually doing anything? Have to admit Easter is the one holiday that doesn't really mean anything in this household and is just another weekend. (Alrhough MrSmow did surprise me by presenting me with an M&S Easter Egg yesterday!) Didn't expect that so was very nice - it looks lovely!! Will have to put the diet on hold until after I've eaten it lol. 

So has anyone got any visitors, or are you visiting anyone yourself? Any plans for an Easter meal? Or just the usual weekend in your home? X

Good morning, I have put my paperwork down for the weekend and have made some cakes and bread for the Easter weekend. He has requested roast gammon, broccoli, mashed potato and cheese sauce for Easter dinner.

Its his mothers birthday on Sunday so we are preparing for the guilt calls at best and at worst the phone call that she's in hospital!!

We are in the retired brigade and the only thing easter we will have is hot cross buns.  Weather awful so will have to find things to do in the house, which shouldn't be hard.

Mr U was just about to ring council about a blocked drain outside when I had to remind him it is a bank holiday.

Enjoy your suprise egg, don't eat it all at once!!

Good Morning Smow and everyone, raised as a RC so yes I celebrate it but don't follow any religeon really.

Today relaxing having had Electric safety check yesterday two interlopers into my home yesterday banging about two sockets and a light fitting needed changing, decent fella's my homes not a shrine but both are Man United supporters and if like me after last nights game still having kittens watching them. They like to do it to us.

Cloudy oop here in West Yorkshire this morning but rain holding off for the time been.

Not interested in religion, Easter is all about chocolate in any format for me lol

Good morning Smow and everyone. I don't celebrate Easter, although I do love chocolate. Did my shopping yesterdy and had my hair cut so don't need to go over the weekend. The weather here is dull and grey,so wouldn't be surprised if it rains.

Will just potter about inside, there always seems to be some thing that needs doing!

Morning all and smow hope you continue in good health. Not really a holiday here but employers can give there staff an extra day off and banks etc. closed. Weather continues to be miserable, cold wind and heavy showers, still have my fire lit which is much later than usual. Kids have eggs and my Easter tree is on the table. Citrus trees are in flower and so is my night scented honeysuckle

Good day everyone...

It's just another weekend for me...with Easter programs on the telly. I dislike most holiday tv, and schedule changes. 😔 Guess I'll watch some catch up. I'll be stuck indoors as it's all day rain today and grey all weekend. Oh joy. It's really quite chilly and windy so I've needed the heat on very briefly in the evenings this week.
