I have sold my car and am not considering replacing it, I had some issues with my eyesight but was cleared to continue driving! I'm a 60 year old, but have chronic pain issues so even if I drive I can't walk afterwards and am unable to lift my mobility scooter from the car! It's a life changing decision but I'm not needing to surrender my driving licence! Does anyone one have any comments!

That should be 700+ miles per week nearer 1000k

That's a lot of driving

I’ve just spent £430 on car tyres. £65 on petrol £400 insurance, £500 to come on service and MOT. I am entitled to a bus pass but have never applied. Driving is now stressful and unpleasant. You’ve chosen wisely in my opinion. Good luck.

I have a car but use taxis a lot. There is simply no parking spaces at many places I have to go to, such as hospitals. A lot less stressful than driving round and round a packed car park
