I am looking to find an easy to use radio alarm.

I recently bought a Roberts Ortus radio alarm but I have had so much trouble trying to get it set up that I just want something that is much simpler.

I'm a big fan of the Majority brand.  (They're a Cambridge-based company).

So, if I was in your position, I'd be considering this product:
Amazon.com User Recommendation

I've just come across this, which offers you DAB+ reception (as well as FM) at a very sensible price.  (It's also available in black):

I have an Alexa Echo Dot from Amazon.  Just say "Alexa, set the alarm for ???" and that's it.

DAB+ Bush from Argos in an couple of colours, £20 or less.

The laziness of things like Alexa/Echo Dot may be worth ut remmebr there are still always security risks - "particularly regarding the device's ability to record voice commands and the potential for misuse or hacking"

I wouldn't give one houseroom but then I'm lucky enough to be able to switch my own lights on and off, set an alarm, look something up on google and play the radio or music I want myself.

Do you have a mobile phone ?

They have simple to set alarms on the clock app.

PS you can also get radio apps.

Granted I've not looked for a alarm radio app,  but it wouldn't surprise me if one existed.
