None, thanks.

There are plenty of alternatives.

Khandro, I don't want to watch a 25 minute video. What's the gist of it, please?

I'm sure my answer would be 'none' anyway.

None for me either.

From what I've seen online, the King spoke about Christianity and faith and hope, and then went on to mention  Judaism and Islam. This has outraged some...

None of the above.

He has always said that he wanted to be 'Defender of faiths', rather than the more traditional 'Defender of the faith'.

Hard to work out how one can have both head in the sand and in the clouds at the same time.

Maybe something to do with never having had to work a day in his life. Utterly craven.

Try to fast-forward to the last few minutes for his summing up.

It was not difficult to predict there would be a lot of "None's" on AB.

What those do not understand is, yes you don't have to adopt any of those three, but by doing so either Marxism of Islam will sure as night follows day, step in to fill the void.

OG, //There are plenty of alternatives.//

Such as ?

The Apostle Paul encountered considerable opposition as he set out to accomplish work for God. An example to us, Paul recognized his human inability to overcome this dilemma. His response was that he kept his eyes on God and relied on His strength. In his letter to the Philippians, he encouraged the believers to remain strong by standing together.
Philippians 1:27 "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith [family faith] of the gospel."

Khandro  - One alternative is living life without the need for constant reassurance from strangers with video cameras.

If you are secure in your belief, you would not feel the contant need to ask people to watch your video wonks all the time.

Did you type that with a straight face, Khandro?

An absolutely bonkers pronouncement....

JtH //Did you type that with a straight face, Khandro?!!

I typed it with a very straight face. What do you think will take over a secularised society ?

I've asked OG above for examples of his 'alternatives' but none seem to be forthcoming.

Why not listen to what Dr Ashenden has to say in the video ?

Oh goody, another video wonk is wheeled in.

Khandro - try thinking for yourself, you may find it a refreshing experience.

I'm not sure.

But I don't think those are our only options....

None of them.I prefer to worship the Great Spaghetti Monster in the sky.The GSM is a lot more believable than paedophile Popes and Wee Frees and bloodthirsty Muslim heid-the-baws.

Funny how Plato needed Socrates & Aristotle needed Plato.
