Good Morning Everyone
I hope everyone had a good Easter, whether you visited with relatives or spent it quietly like I did.
The weather was glorious on Saturday and I got lots of little outside jobs done. It then went downhill, and yesterday it rained all day. Still today we are back to moderate sunshine.
Has anybody got anything planned this week? I know we are trying to visit a Skechers outlet nearby where you can buy the "Step Ins" they advertise on TV. OH has great problems bending down to tie shoelaces and have used the stretchy shoelaces in the past but it does create a problem with the heel part. Has anyone tried the "Step Ins" ?
I hope Smow is well. I have missed the last couple of days, but I notice she hasn't been around. Have a good day everyone.

I have only had flu once before and the symptoms this time were no way as severe but I had forgotten how wiped you feel. My sofa has been kind to me these last few days
Hope Smow is ok too.
Those shoes sound an excellent idea calda, let us know how you get on with them.
Have a happy day everyone
Good morning...it's sunny here in Plymouth but there's still a chill in the air. No specific plans here. I did an aldi/lidl trip yesterday so no shopping needed until late in the week. I'm trying to avoid an online order until next week.
I've seen the sketchers advertised, but they aren't good for my knees for some reason. I hope the 'step ins' are suitable for OH calda. I absolutely hate shoe shopping.
Rosetta, I hope you make a speedy recovery...be good to yourself.
Good morning, I join you in hoping Smow is not ill. Weather up here in Torbay is the same as yours Pasta.
Just had 2 sofas delivered, there was so much packing on it we couldn't see the floor. All folded or torn into smaller pieces but several trips down 2 flights of stairs to the garage where it will stay until we can get rid of it.
Not much else planned for today as we did not know what time it was arriving.
Ordered a pair of "Step Ins" off skechers website. It turned into a nightmare. They actually came from America via UPS America according to the label. They had sent the wrong size. Tried to phone up Customer Services(again getting the phone number off the net), only to be told that number was no longer in use. Tried to number they gave instead and it was an automatic menu choice. I put in my choice and it just went back to the automatic menu. Tried several times with different numbers, never managed to get through to a person, so I have lost faith in trying to this over the net. Hence we are hoping to go,in person, to an outlet. Don't get me started about trying to return them and get a refund. All in all it has been a nightmare, so much so I am thinking of writing to Skechers.
Rant over - sorry everyone!
