Hope everyone is ok? Sorry I was unable to post yesterday but I see that Calda did an excellent job! : )

I went to bed Sunday night after a perfectly good day - all was good. Woke up about 3am and feeling really really queasy. No idea why. Within an hour I was being very sick, but it was just liquid, which I couldn't understand as I'd eaten perfectly normally all Sunday. Anyway this carried on till mid afternoon when I was completely shattered by then. Finally stopped. Still felt out of sorts yesterday but back to normal this morn. Not a clue what that was all about but never mind.Easter  has gone now so hope you all had a good one. We were very lucky with the weather and despite it predicting rain for most days it actually stayed dry over the whole weekend, and didn't start to rain until late lastnight.

Today is a day for catching up on all the usual stuff, hope everyone has a good one! X

Morning, Smow. Sorry you've been ill again.

The weather has been dull, drizzly and rather chilly at night. Can only get better

Good Morning, hope you are feeling a wee bit better.

there is a nasty sick bug going around - I had it the weekend before Easter - came on suddenly whilst I was just sitting there, we had eaten the same thing so I know the food was OK.

24 hours it was gone.

Good morning smow from a warm, sunny,"hot" Aberdeen.Another days holiday today,so i might take doggy for a car-run up to the Moray Firth for a wee change.Have a nice day everyone.

Morning, sounds like you had a 24 hour bug, still unpleasant however long it lasts, but good that you are OK today.  Weather caught me out yesterday, got all the bedding out and the heavens opened. Rushed out got it all in and it stopped!!

Spent the morning unpacking new sofas, there was a great mound of cardboard and plastic on the floor, unbelievably we managed to get all the cardboard in the crate, and I noticed the plastic could be recycled so that will come with me to supermarket in the morning.

Quite a mundane day today, first job cleaning our bathroom and cloakroom a job I hate.

Good morning Smow, pleased you're feeling better and hopefully just a passing bug of some kind.🤔

I've had similar but mine was overindulgence... good to know you've perked back up.

Lovely and Sunny again oop ere in West Yorkshire.

Happy St. Georges day everyone hope she's kind to you.

I think trump has borrowed AB's crayons

Good morning everyone. Glad to hear you are feeling better Smow. Absolutely poured down overnight here, dull but "rainless" at the moment. Going to MacArthur Glen outlet this morning on the trail of step ins. So will leave you now and have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone, very dark and wet here at the moment - at least it wasn't like this at the weekend I guess. Going to sum up the motivation to do my most dreaded job - changing the bedding. I just loathe it!

Best thing I ever did was change to a coverless duvet, so I just wash the top and bottom sheet and pillowcases. so much easier

It's a late good morning from me. Hope you're feeling better Smow. I only have to read about someone with sickness and feel queasy!

Regarding coverless duvets...a term I've never heard of...back in the day I'd have called that a quilt...in the US at least.

Have fun battling the bedding Smow...I also hate doing it. My plans include possibly hoovering, doing my nails, and watching some junk daytime telly. Have a good one all!

yes I would of said quilt to Pasta but our quilts growing up were very decorated and the one I have is a plain colour.

Morning all. My sofa has been doing its "come hither" job, so who am I to resist.

Glad to see you are feeling better Smow. Feeling nauseous and being sick is the worst feeling ever. Their seems to be a lot of bugs about at the moment, maybe we needed a good long frost to kill them off. I have no idea where I got the flu from. I had hardly been out so twill remain a mystery

Just a quiet day for us. Hoping the gardener will visit despite all the rain, we have some heavier jobs that need doing

have a happy day everyone

Yes I've seen these coverless duvets, may have to look into them....
