He lost $1500? - probly spends that on a meal out with friends.

No sympathy.

Well I sympathise. It wasn't just a loss on an unexpected conversion, which arguably might have been his error (although the advice given didn't highlight the possible pitfall) but the whole amount "transferred" has disappeared into some network black hole.

 

Whether it was 1p or £1,000,000,000,000,00 the principle is the same. The money has to still exist and the system is responsible; and since Revolut was the agency who advised and used they ought to be accepting responsibility to chase up where it has gone and returning it to their client.

The moral, presumably, is to stay out of crypto cash and those that deal with it.
