If yu go blind in one eye how much of your vision do you lose a) 1/5th or b) 1/3rd

well as you have two eyes i presume you would lose half your vision.
You can see just as well with one eye. It's just the peripheral vision you lose. My daughter is blind in one eye.
There's some nice ammo for WM
I was born without a left eye (and now have a prosthesis in the socket). I've limited peripheral vision, but the most that means to me is I have to be sure to turn my head a little more than other people.

I've been told I have no depth perception, but the only way that's affected me is that I take a bit more time to absorb visual clues to help me estimate distances. I do this so automatically that I don't even realize it. I think my vision's quite fine, and have no troubles driving a car.
